Glam + Go founder Erika Wasser tell us how to keep your hair game strong this Basel. Art Basel is one of Miami’s biggest weekends of the year and big weekends call for blowouts. Here’s our best tips and tricks for great hair days all Basel long.

Wednesday (Day 1): Get a blowout. I know this one sounds gratuitous, but there are some things that should be left to a professional - combating Miami humidity is one of them. A pro blowout will set you up with a foundation for hair success all weekend long. Our Hot Body will leave you with a look that not curly, not straight but full of shine, body and bounce.

Thursday (Day 2): Give your blowout some longevity by dry shampoo-ing your roots in the morning and finish with a shine spray. Spray dry shampoo to the root 5-6 inches away from the scalp. Massage in with your hands. If your ends need a bit of a lift, try a shine spray or dry oil. Pro Tip: Section your hair into two low buns the night prior to keep your wave going overnight. Secure low buns with a bobby pin on both sides behind your ears. Dry shampoo your roots before shaking out in the morning.

Friday (Day 3): Take to the beach-waves. Give you hair a totally new look, still using your original blowout as a base. Pop in to Glam + Go for a quick 15-minute express blowout that will turn your dry strands fresh on the fly. If you want to try this on your own, section your hair into 4 sections (three on top from ear to ear, and a fourth in the back). Hold your curling iron horizontally and wrap 1-1.5inch sections around.

Saturday (Day 4): The end is finally near and this calls for braids. Give your original blowout one last day by turning it into a chic braid, bun or pony. Tie your hair up on your own, or come see Cheyanne at Glam + Go who is a master braider. Keep your braids in overnight for the flight home on Sunday and you’ll have gotten through Basel without ever having to think about your hair or frizz, so you can focus on great art, events and parties.
