This January, we’ve teamed up with our fitness friends, The Wellscene, to host an event every Friday night at St Martins Lane: so you can start 2018 fit and healthy, without giving up on your social life.

At The Wellscene, they do things a little differently. They turn off the light, crank up the music and team up with some of London’s favourite teachers for these ever so popular events.

Se in the (near) dark, with only black lights to illuminate the room, you can expect a spectacle for your eyes with UV face paint, glow sticks and lots of neon. From the popular Flow in the Dark Yoga to Sweat & Glow being hardcore, but effective, they really will leave you feel rejuvenated and with those feel-good vibes!

So don your brightest workout gear, put on your neon face paint and head to one of the classes below, for some fluorescent fun!

Friday 5 January: Flow in the Dark
Join Jonelle Lewis for a very special hip hop yoga class with the sounds of Riri and Beyonce. Jonelle's contagious energy and warmth will encourage you to explore your limits and try out poses that seemed out of reach before.

Friday 12 January: Sweat & Glow
The Wellscene are teaming up with The Viking Method on 12 January for Sweat & Glow: a sweat dripping, body sculpting HIIT class. The Viking Method will have you jumping high in the sky, crawling along the floor, planking and kick-boxing your way through a 60 minute HIIT style workout. It’s hardcore, but effective.

Friday 19 January: Flow in the Dark
For a vinyasa style Flow in the Dark class, join Emily-Clare Hill. Emily-Clare is a much loved and respected figure in the London yoga scene and teaches strong, energising and creative classes, designed to fire you up and build strength through every inch of your body. Expect fun and playful pose variations!

Friday 26 January: Flow in the Dark
Join Anna Karides for a very special acro yoga class where the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power of acrobatics and the loving kindness of healing arts are blended into one. Acro yoga is performed mainly in pairs or in groups and is open to all levels (modifications will be given). No previous experience required and it's totally okay to come on your own!
